A Somatic Dance Journey with Primal Sounding Expression

In this movement and voice activation ritual you will be guided to slow down and turn your attention to the subtle play of your innate wellbeing ~ to go beyond the ways you habitually move and sound. We will open to new territories to both let go and receive archetypal energies that are ready for expression.

We’ll be using mindfulness & breath to gaze inwardly to awaken true expression through sounds, groans, and tones which will assist to clear blockages and create a sense of vitality and spaciousness.

Organic dance movement exploration will be at the center of our practice. We’ll complete with a spacious sound healing.

Journey timeline:

  • Opening the space 20min

  • Dance and movement 75min

  • Sound expression pod 30min

  • Sound healing 30min

  • Integration & connection 15min

Sam David

Sam was born in Hawaii and has traveled the world sharing the activating and healing power of sound for over 20 years. Raised part of his life with the Chumash Native Americans of central California, Sam learned their sacred practices and drumming. The didgeridoo and voice are his original passions and are what led him on a journey of healing and learning about the powerful effects of sound on people. He is an intuitive sound healer musician, integrating powerful healing techniques from many different cultures including indigenous didjeridoo sounds, Tuvin throat singing, overtones, Tibetan monks and Native American sounds, as well as sounds from whales of the deep. Within his sound journeys he also incorporates the higher frequency elements of crystal pyramids and crystal bowls.
