The way you carry your head influences your posture, breathing, and overall ease. In this workshop, you’ll explore gentle movements that release tension in the neck and shoulders, reawaken your natural alignment, and bring more comfort to turning, standing, and moving through daily life.
No prior experience is needed—just curiosity and comfortable clothing. Most of the class will take place lying on the floor, both on your stomach and back.
You will:
Discover how small changes in head carriage can ease strain in the neck, shoulders, and back
Learn simple movement strategies to improve posture and breathing
Experience greater lightness and comfort in everyday activities
Seth Paris, M.S., OTR/L, GCFP
Seth is a Licensed Occupational Therapist and Certified Feldenkrais® Practitioner. Seth began his study of massage and bodywork in 1993 and became a Certified Feldenkrais® Practitioner in 1997. He has helped adults and children with successful rehabilitation for over 25 years. Seth’s lifelong study of martial arts, fitness, Zen and mindfulness meditation inform his work. Seth enjoys keeping up with current neuroscience as it relates to motor learning and understanding chronic pain. He lives with his wife, son, and their two dogs in Aptos, CA. He enjoys trail running, and learning to play the piano in his spare moments.
