This class offers a dynamic sequence of somatic practice, breathwork, internal energy cultivation, imaginal practices, and meditation - all designed to support releasing into presence, developing clarity and expansiveness of mind, and grounding.
We’ll begin with gentle somatic practices that help you tune into bodily sensations, release tension, and cultivate embodied awareness. From there, we’ll move into breathwork exercises and energy cultivation techniques to enhance the subtle energy body and foster grounding. After these practices, brief instruction will be provided, and we’ll transition into meditation that integrates both Focused Attention and Open Awareness styles.
We will conclude with an imaginal practice - a guided inner visualization that engages the power of imagery and felt experience to deepen inner clarity and cultivate qualities of presence and mind such as compassion, courage, spacious awareness, and loving-kindness, and more.
The session concludes with a short Q&A where participants can ask questions related to practice, techniques, wisdom traditions, or any other topic.
This class is designed to engage your whole being - body, breath, subtle energetic system, and mind - to help build awareness of how you experience life and to cultivate the capacity to transform your perception. It’s an ideal way to start the day with clarity, vitality, and an expansive state of being. Discover how one session can ripple outward, enriching your daily experiences, work, and relationships.
The workshop will include:
A collective meditation to attune to the body and the imaginal realm
Two guided imaginal practices with a short break in between
A closing Q&A and space to share experiences
Asyl Bauyrzhanuly
Asyl’s journey spans over a decade of rigorous practice, beginning with the Kriya and Tantra yoga traditions and later deepening through samatha and vipassana practices rooted in Theravada Buddhism. After many retreats and years of dedicated training, he chose to fully devote himself to exploring the nature of the mind, undergoing intensive training in the Rinzai Zen tradition at Korinji - Rinzai Zen Monastery. Today, he continues to practice within the Zen tradition, enriching his path with training in the mystical teachings of Sufism, non-dual meditation teacher programs, and somatic teacher trainings.
His work is rooted in the psycho-spiritual domain, where he practices and teaches direct methods for engaging the whole being - body, mind, subtle energy system, and heart. Asyl’s approach is integrative, blending the rigor of disciplined practice with a deep sensitivity to the unfolding of inner experience and the natural flow of life. He invites practitioners into an embodied path of transformation – one that honors the intelligence of the body-mind, nurtures presence, and expands perception beyond the ordinary as a gateway to the Sacred and Divine.
